	This tutorial will show you how to use a mask and a an alarm to start the recording of 3 inputs when the FFT spectrum of the first input cross the mask. To do that, we will need a to use a mask, an alarm and [[NVGate Macro\|a macro]]. The setup must contain three input channels [[NVGate_Software_overview#Step_1:_Inputs_selection\|connected]] to [[NVGate_Recorder\|the recorder]] and the [[NVGate FFT Analyzer\|FFT plugins]]. The average spectrum must be displayed.
