Warranty Information

A copy of the warranty terms applicable to your OROS product and replacement parts can be obtained from your local distributor. A copy of the extended warranty (service contracts) terms applicable to your OROS product can be obtained from your local distributor.

Calibration/Verification

OROS instruments needs to be calibrated regularly. OROS recommend to verify and calibrate your instrument yearly.

Note: The calibration does not guarantee the measurements accuracy for the coming year. It guarantees that your previous measurements do not show erroneous results.

Support

Support (hotline, trainings, coaching, renting, customization, update) are managed locally by country with the support of OROS customer care team. For any support please contact your local distributor first.

Service/repairs

OROS offers local service and repairs through its maintenance centers available within a worldwide coverage (China, Europe, India, Japan, South Korea, USA). Local technicians are certified on a regular basis by OROS specialists, enabling them to repair, calibrate and upgrade all OROS systems reducing the maintenance downtime.

Read the manual before use. It provides important safety information.

Your safety is our primary concern. Please carefully read the following information to be safe with your OROS instrument.

Warnings

The following general safety precautions must be observed during all operations with OROS instruments.

Failure to comply with these precautions or with specific warnings elsewhere in this manual violates safety standards of design, manufacture, and intended use of the product. OROS assumes no liability for the customer’s failure to comply with these requirements.

Some accessories shown in this document are available as option and will not be shipped as standard parts.

Environmental Considerations

The following guidelines must be observed to avoid environmental pollution while using and recycling the OROS products.

Product End-of-Life Handling

Observe the following guidelines when recycling an OROS instrument:

System and Components Recycling: Production of these components required the extraction and use of natural resources. The substances contained in the system could be harmful to your health and to the environment if the system is improperly handled at its end of life.

Please recycle this product in an appropriate way to avoid unnecessary pollution of the environment and to keep natural resources.

This symbol indicates that this system complies with the European Union’s requirements according to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) According to article 7 of directive 2012/19/EU, costs for collection, treatment, recovery and environmentally sound disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) shall be provided by the users. French users, please consult our local policy @ www.oros.fr.

Restriction of Hazardous Substances

OROS products comply with the 2011/65/EU et 2015/863 RoHs directives. Our products are lead free. Pollution degree 2.

General safety and hazard warnings for OROS Instruments

Review the following safety precautions to avoid injury and prevent damage to this product or any products connected to it. To avoid potential hazards, use this product only as specified. Only qualified personnel should perform service procedures.   To avoid fire and personal injury: Use proper power cord. Use only the power cord specified in this product and certified for the country of use.

Connect OROS Teamwork instruments to the ground. This product is grounded through the grounding conductor of the power cord. To avoid electric shock, the grounding connector  must be connected to earth ground.

To avoid electric hazards during battery operation, connect OROS Teamwork instrument to the ground  .

Respect all terminal ratings. To avoid fire or shock hazard, observe all ratings and marking on the product. Do not apply voltages over +/-60 V to any terminals and covers of the instruments.

  All inputs +/-40 V - CAT I

Do not operate without covers. Do not operate this product with covers or panels removed.

Avoid exposed circuitry. Do not touch exposed connections and components when AC outlet is connected.

Do not operate with suspected failures. If you suspect there is any damage to this product, get it inspected by qualified service personnel.

Only use original and approved devices, components and accessories. Apply them in accordance with their intended use.

Maintenance of the instruments and accessories is operated in OROS certified maintenance center only.

Adverse environmental conditions : Take specific protections when operating the instrument exposed to the following conditions

  • Do not operate in wet/damp conditions for outdoor operations.

  indoor, dry location use only.

  • Do not operate in explosive atmosphere (Dust, flammable gases/vapors, fumes or dissolver).
  • Keep product surfaces clean and dry. Disconnect and power off the instrument before cleaning external surfaces with a damp cloth. Power on and reconnect when surfaces are dry.
  • Provide proper ventilation. See the "Fan" chapter.
  • Do not operate the instrument out of the temperature, shock and vibration absolute maximum ratings (see compliance with standards).
  • Do not operate in environments where pollutants may be present.
